Research & Travel Funding 

CAS AFRICANA STUDIES GRANTS

The College of Arts & Sciences Africana Studies program has grant funds available to support students in:

Presenting at conferences
Internships and Fellowships
Research or projects to be conducted on campus or domestically under the guidance of a Africana Studies faculty member.

Preference given to AAS majors and minors
Priority is given to first-time applicants
Rolling deadline, but applications are due 12 weeks before proposed travel
Funding up to $5000
Funding requests that go beyond $5,000 may be considered on a limited basis
